TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
